We operate a current and/or savings account with a Bank, including a Trust Account in terms of Section 32 of the Estate Agents Act, on behalf of the scheme.
Our service includes:
Assisting and advising the Board of Trustees on the enforcement of the Rules adopted by the scheme, on specific instructions from the trustees.
Assisting the trustees with negotiating with:
a) Professional persons, firms or other organizations for the drawing up of specifications for work to be done on the common property excluding improvements;
b) Outside contractors to do work or perform services excluding work on capital improvements.
The collection/receipt of levies and of other income due to the scheme as advised by the Trustees. Taking legal action for collection, where necessary.
Verification and payment from available funds of all accounts payable by the scheme.
Payment of salaries, wages. PAYE, Skills Levies, Regional Council Levies, Unemployment Insurance Fund and Workmen's Compensation on the dates and in the manner determined by the Managing Agent.
Attending the Annual General Meeting of the Body Corporate.
Attending the meeting of Trustees to review Annual Budget or any other special meeting if required. Trustees to hold their own meetings from time to time as required by each scheme.
